Product description
The BCA Traverse EXT snow shovel is the lightest full-aluminum snow shovel with a long handle on the market, weighing just 567 grams. It is no surprise this is one of the most popular shovels in North America.
The scoop is not as big on this shovel as compared to some Ortovox shovels, however, it is big enough to do the job and small enough to fit in any backpack.
The shaft is oval which makes for good handling along with the T-grip style handle. When fully extended it is 78 cm long (30 in).
If you want to keep your gear light but still very durable then partner this digger with either the Ortovox 240 Light PFA avalanche probe or the Backcountry Access 240 Profile probe.
