Product description
With the newest update of its software the Mammut Pulse transceiver became much more user friendly. This on top of its already tested speed, effectiveness and multiple burial search capabilities that allows the beacon to keep track of up to seven signals.
With the Pulse you can search using either analog or digital modes which can greatly benefit experienced users.
In multiple burial scenario you can scroll through different victims and if other Pulse unit is already searching for a specific victim then you can see it right on your display.
Also, if you are searching for someone wearing the Pulse beacon then you will be able to see whether they are still breathing. Basically, the unit tries to detect whether the beacon is moving on the victims chest or not. This can get a little confusing for your decision making but the functionality is there.
Mammut Pulse also has a marking functionality, displays the distance number and navigates you with a directional arrow on its LCD screen.
Two pre-set profiles (basic and professional) allows you to use this avalanche beacon based on your abilities and experience level. The professional profile even provides MapView display with overview of number, distances and locations of buried beacons.
Make sure to check out the Pulse’s direct rivals as they also offer their own innovative features – Pieps DSP and Ortovox S1+.
